David Murphy’s experience in the entertainment industry spans over 15 years. Originally from New York, and a film graduate from Long Island University – Post. David’s earlier positions within the industry included working at NBC News, ABC, Universal Studio’s story department, and at The Carson Organization talent agency. Later, David was instrumental in the Nationwide launch and continued success of the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) DVD program for MGM Studios, and later for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Previously at Gold Lion Films, David specialized in client management, and development. David founded Fairview Productions in 2009  with the purpose of financing and distributing quality, profitable independent entertainment that stands out from the pack with poignant and relatable storylines. Completed projects currently being distributed and sold worldwide include “Battle B-Boy”, “Secrets in the Fall”, and “#EM3”, among others. Upcoming projects include “Greenbacks” and “Residual”.
